She can’t understand why, since he’s rude and abrasive. Granite wants a cure found. The sooner the better. He keeps a close eye on the whole project and moreover, on the little human spearheading the whole thing. Trust is not something that comes easily to him. If she thinks he’ll allow himself to become blinded by her sweet demeanor and kissable lips, she’s got another thing coming. Touching the female is off limits. Against every rule in the book. Dr Louise Parry is hired to help eliminate a dangerous allergy to silver working with the Earth Dragons. The Royal Earth King Granite is attracted to her, but believes he can force everything to his will - from speeding up the allergy treatments to having a sexual relationship with the Doctor. Having personal relationships between dragons and humans is against the contract, so Louise attempts to avoid getting involved with Granite. The entanglements, the stress, the friendships between Louise and other members of tribe is beautifully captured by Ms Hartnady. I loved the continuation of this series and am anxious to learn what happens with the babies as they develop...quite the cliff hanger at the end. You'll love this story - and don't miss the rest of the series!!!AJ R

❤️❤️❤️ this series!! I love how all these books in the series are like branches of a tree. You can start with the vampires, then the wolves, the elfves and now dragons. Even though they’re different species & different stories at some point you’ll hear of a character you already read about so you kinda keep up with those characters you love.
This could have been a lot better I think. Then other books started with the human hunt. And this kinda plops you down in the middle of situation. I usually like these kind of books to give me a break in between series. But this one just fell flat.
I've been craving another Bride Hunt book and I finally got to read Louise and Granite's story!!! It was amazing. I loved Louise's personality and Granite's stubbornness. They finally were brave enough to go after each other and it was so sweet. I especially loved the way it ended... these new dragon babies seem to be very interesting and so different, I can't wait to read what happens next!!!
Favorite book of the series shoot this is right up there with Stolen by the Wolf. Chemistry was off the charts definitely a different view on everything it was nice to have them meet this way instead of the Bride hunt. Different spin I love Granite I think he's my favorite I don't know there's something about him that just really really is super sexy and super fun. I know I don't say a whole bunch about the book because you have to read it it was excellent
I love these books, not too long, and full of fast moving action. These are all great stories. Each complete in itself. These one tells of a stubborn king and a research doctor who cannot keen their hands off each other and their .miss understanding of each other until a surprise comes to light! Read, enjoy, wonder how two such beings can get into such a mess and still make it all work with the help of a few friends!

Another fascinating and fun Bride Hunt Book. I am really bummed that I have to wait six months, six months! for the next book. Granite is one growly Dragon King but at least Louise won't take any crap from him. I really enjoyed this book, it was interesting watching Granite get his head on straight. I definitely recommend this book but I am sad that I have to wait so long for the next one. Enjoy! 😀
I must say, Granite made me laugh a lot! He's such a grouch, so intolerant of the human doctor (Louise). She's supposed to be helping to increase their tolerance to silver so that it wouldn't be an effective weapon against them. Louise is strong, sweet, a workaholic, and knows her own mind. It didn't take long for her to realize she's emotionally involved. And the consequences are dire! Granite, on the other hand, keeps deluding himself. He's just working her out of his system. Sure...that's what it is! Seriously, he has an addiction! This is an enjoyable romp into the world of Earth dragons. Not to be missed!
